Thanksgiving STEM Challenge

Our STEM Thanksgiving challenge was to create a pattern turkey using shapes. My 2nd-5th grade students colored and cut out shapes. Then, they arranged shapes in feather pattern around the turkey's body. My K5-1st grade students colored (making a pattern) an already arranged turkey.

Materials: - Pattern block template -Turkey body picture -Arranged shape turkey picture -Crayons -Construction paper -Glue -Scissors
